| abbiamo ricevuto le sue lettere del 12 aprile, 5 maggio e 21 giugno. Come sempre, lei ci comunica grande gratitudine per il nostro aiuto. Spero che questo, nel suo piccolo, insieme con gli sforzi che state sostenendo con tanta fede, possa contribuire all'edificazione del regno di Dio. Vivere e lavorare per Lui, nel modo particolare in cui chiama ogni uomo, è davvero l’unico vero scopo della vita, tutto il resto svanisce e passa. | we received your letters of April 12th, May 5th and June 21st. You tell us all your gratitude for our help, as usual. Although a little help, I hope this can contribute to building God’s Kingdom together with all the efforts you are bearing with so much faith. To live and to work in Him in the peculiar way He calls every person, this is the true scope in life: all the rest vanishes quickly. |
| Abbiamo constatato con piacere che sono in corso i lavori di costruzione della chiesa di Razole. Le immagini che ne documentano l’inizio sono state esibite nel corso della annuale festa popolare parrocchiale svoltasi a Mandriolo dal 13 al 15 giugno 2009. Alla gente, che grazie al clima favorevole ha partecipato numerosa, è stato esplicitamente detto che parte delle entrate sarebbe stata destinata all’edificazione della vostra chiesa. Vedremo l’esito... | We were happy to see that the works for building your parish church in Razole are under way now. The photos showing their start were exhibited during the annual parish festival which took place between 13 to 15 June last. We told the many people who attended it, thanks to a very nice weather, that part of the income from the festival would be devoted to the building of your Church. We don’t know yet the outcome of this initiative: and will see later on after all calculation are done... | |
| A parte la suddetta iniziativa, nel frattempo erano state raccolte alcune altre offerte, in tutto 2.610,00 euro. Queste vi sono state materialmente spedite proprio oggi pomeriggio sul “Social service center” (il conto che lei ha specificato nella email del 10.1.2008). Di dette offerte 1.050,00 euro sono destinati alla costruzione della Chiesa e 1.560,00 euro sono destinati al sostentamento dei 13 bambini poveri citati nella sua email del 16.2.2009. A proposito di questi bambini poveri, orfani o semi-orfani, voglia inviarmi appena possibile i loro nomi e le loro fotografie: consegnerò tutto alla persona che, da sola, ha offerto i 1.560,00 euro e che aveva già in atto numerose altre adozioni. | A part from this, in the meantime a number some more donations had been collected, amounting to 2.610,00 euros altogether. These have just been sent out to you this very afternoon (25th June) through the “Social service center” (the account you specified in your mail dated January 10th 2008). Such offers are partly bound to the church building 1.050,00 euros; the remaining 1.560,00 euros are for the 13 poor children mentioned in your e mail of February 16th, 2009. Talking of these poor orphan or semi-orphan children, could you please send me as soon as possible their names and photos so that I can pass them to the same person, only one, who donated that amount of 1.560,00 euros besides having already adopted a number of children in the past. | |
| Il 31 maggio scorso 12 bambini (che già sono molti per noi!) hanno ricevuto la loro prima comunione. | Last May the 31st, 12 of our children (it’s a large number for us!) received their first Communion. | |
| I nostri due parroci continuano a svolgere la loro attività, nonostante il peso dell’età e le precarie condizioni di salute incidano sempre più pesantemente sulla loro efficienza, specialmente con riguardo a don Giancarlo. Preghi e faccia pregare i suoi fedeli per loro in particolare e, in generale, per la nostra parrocchia un po’ malandata. Ci affidiamo a Dio, certi che Egli dà ai suoi figli solo cose buone. | Our two fathers still perform their parish duties despite their old age and bad health, particularly father Giancarlo’s health, which make them less and less efficient. Please pray and ask your parishioners to pray for him and more generally for all our troubled parish. We trust in God and are confident that He only provides His children with good things. | |
