Caro padre Katam,
Dear fr. Katam,
Temo che non saremo in grado di dare in tempo una somma pari a quella che ci chiede per completare i lavori della chiesa. Comunque, lo scorso febbraio, abbiamo organizzato una cena di beneficenza e siamo riusciti a raccogliere 1.000 euro che sono state destinati alla tua chiesa. Appena possibile vi invieremo la suddetta somma. La informerò quanto prima.
I fear that we will not be able to give in due time a sum equal to what you ask us to finish the work of the church. However, last February, we organized a beneficence dinner and we managed to collect 1000 euros which were devolved to your church. Whenever possible, we will send you that amount. I will inform you as soon as possibile.
